Iranian authorites released lawyer Elham Zeraat Pisheh yesterday, Wednesday,July 29,from Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz,afrer payment of financial bail, according to reports published by media outlets focused on human rights.

Elham Zeraat Pisheh, a lawyer and member of the Fars Province Bar Association, had been arrested inside the Shiraz Civil Court before being transferred directly to prison. After weeks in detention, Branch One of the Revolutionary Court in Shiraz issued a ruling sentencing her to five years in prison on charges of "assembly and collusion against national security," in addition to one more year on charges of "propaganda against the system." The ruling also included a travel ban and the confiscation of her passport for two years.
