“Martyrs Sorxwin and Azadî were wounded while protecting their people. Comrades Sorxwîn and Azadi, who became the symbol of national unity by fighting ISIS, will live in our hearts forever. Comrade Sorxwîn created a new culture of resistance representing the ‘Jin, Jiyan, Azadi’ uprising. As the representative of the people in Rojhilatê Kurdistan, she became the comrade of Jina Amini (Jina Mahsa Amini) and Shirin Alam Holi (A Kurdish woman, who was executed in Evin Prison on May 9, 2010).”

The statement emphasized that Azadî Derik had grown up in a Kurdish patriotic family. “She fought along with comrade Sorxwîn without hesitation but with courage and determination. They fought for their people and comrades and became truth followers. As women, we will bring fascist Erdoğan to account. We will keep struggling with the ‘Jin,Jiyan, Azadî’ philosophy. Victory will definitely belong to our people. Erdoğan, the enemy of humanity, and his collaborators will lose.”
