KJAR: Where is Verishe Moradi?
The East Kurdistan Free Women Society (KJAR) has announced that Verishe Moradi, a member of the KJAR, has been arrested and transferred to an unknown location by members of the IRGC. “We are worried about her life.”
News Center- The East Kurdistan Free Women Society (KJAR) has announced that Verishe Moradi, a member of the KJAR, was arrested and transferred to an unknown location by the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on August 10, 2023.
The statement released by the KJAR said that Verishe Moradi was arrested and transferred to an unknown location by the members of the IRGC while she was carrying out activities in Sanandaj.
‘If something happens to our comrade, the Islamic Republic of Iran will be responsible’
The statement is as follows:
“Verishe Moradi’s parents have been looking for their daughter for days; however, they have received no information about her until now. This situation raises our concerns about her life. Our comrade has been kidnapped by the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Ministry of Intelligence. If something happens to our comrade, the Islamic Republic of Iran will be responsible.”
Forced disappearance of political and civil activists by the Islamic Republic of Iran has a long history. Especially in the 1960s, many people disappeared in custody in the country.
