News Center- The sit-in protest staged by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 169^th day.

The Şenyaşar family has tried to meet the Chief Public Prosecutor of Şanlıurfa since March 9, 2021 but their requests have been rejected. The family members entered the courthouse today to meet the prosecutor. They are waiting for a response.

“Justice is necessary for everyone”

The family also posted a tweet today. “I am a heartbroken mother. I don’t want to stay at home while my son has been unlawfully held in a single cell for 3 years. Let’s end this injustice together. Because justice is necessary for everyone,” the family wrote in their tweet.
