Istanbul – The final hearing of trial against journalist Meşale Tolu on charges of “propagandizing for a terrorist organization” and “membership of a terrorist organization” was held by the Istanbul 29th High Criminal Court. At the previous hearing, the prosecutor demanded the acquittal of Meşale Tolu of both charges. Today, the court has ruled the acquittal of the journalist.

Journalist Meşale Tolu was arrested on April 30, 2017 and held in prison for eight months.
