Journalist Kibriye Evren taken into custody

Journalist Kibriye Evren was taken into custody in a dawn house raid conducted in Istanbul.

Istanbul- Police conducted a dawn raid on the home of journalist Kibriye Evren, editor of Jinnews, in Istanbul’s Tuzla district. After the search of her house, Kibriye Evren was taken into custody and transferred to the Kocaeli Police Department.

 The reason for her detention is still unknown.
