In February, men killed 39 women across Turkey: 10 women were killed in Istanbul, one in Artvin, two in Ankara, one in Aydın, three in Sakarya, one in Edirne, two in Samsun, three in Bursa, one in Bartın, one in Xarpêt (Elazığ), one in Burdur, one in Hatay, one in Dîlok (Antep), one in Düzce, two in Adana, one in Riha (Urfa), one in Antalya, one in Amed (Diyarbakır), one in Denizli, one in Çanakkale, one in Izmir, one in Erzurum, and one in Manisa.
“Nine women were killed by their ex-husbands, six by their intimate partners, six by their partners, nine by their husbands, six by their sons and three by their fathers,” Jinnews said.
