News Center— Israeli airstrikes continued to hit scattered areas across the Gaza Strip, leaving dead and wounded among civilians, as military operations continue and the humanitarian crisis escalates.

Three Palestinians, including two children, were killed, and a number of others were wounded to varying degrees, today, Thursday, July 30, as a result of Israeli strikes targeting several areas of the Gaza Strip, amid continued military operations across the territory.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA, citing medical sources, reported that Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital received the bodies of two people killed, one of them a young girl, along with a number of wounded, following an airstrike that targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip — an area home to large numbers of displaced families.

In a separate incident, the body of a child and a number of wounded arrived at the same hospital following a missile strike that targeted a residential apartment located across from the Deir al-Balah municipality building in central Gaza, resulting in deaths and injuries among civilians.

Another strike, carried out by warplanes on a residential apartment near Al-Ma'muniya School in the Al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City, wounded six Palestinians, one of whom was described as in critical condition, according to medical sources.

These strikes come as Israeli military operations continue across various areas of the Strip, amid a continuing deterioration in humanitarian conditions and a rising number of civilian casualties, as the bombardment continues and the scope of destruction expands.

WAFA reported that the overall death toll from the war in Gaza has risen, according to figures issued by health authorities in the Strip, to 73,335 killed and 174,052 wounded since the war erupted on October 7, 2023.
