News Center- The Israeli army ordered the evacuation of patients and staff of Kamal Adwan Hospital, the Indonesian Hospital and Al-Awda Hospital within 24 hours, the Gaza’s health ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the statement, Israeli forces detained “a paramedic who accompanied a critical care patient during their transfer from Kamal Adwan Hospital”.

The Israeli army was surrounding the Kamal Adwan Hospital and shooting at the administration quarters, the statement said. “The Israeli army has given them 24 hours to completely evacuate the hospital of patients and health staff,” Hossam Abu Safia, director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital, said in an audio recording sent to reporters.

Nine civilians killed in Damascus

An Israeli airstrike targeted a civilian building in Al-Mazzeh neighbourhood in Damascus on Tuesday night. Nine people, including four children and three women, were killed in the airstrike, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Wednesday.

Death toll in Lebanon

2,119 people have been killed and 10,019 others injured in Israeli attacks on Lebanon since October 8, 2023, the Lebanese Health Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

In Lebanon, 36 people were killed and 150 injured in Israeli attacks on Tuesday, the ministry added.
