News Center- Iraq’s Federal Court on Tuesday temporarily suspended the implementation of three controversial laws; the General Amnesty Law, the Return of Property to Owners Law, and amendments to the Personal Status Law, that were approved by the Iraqi parliament on January 21.
On January 21, 2025, the Iraqi parliament approved three draft laws, including the amended Personal Status Law despite all the protests and reactions.
