Iranian regime kidnaps six young people in Javanrud

After Burhan Eliasi, who was shot to death by Iranian police, was sent off on his last journey, six young people, who attended the funeral, were kidnapped by IRGC in Javanrud.

News Center- The protests that sparked in Iran and Rojhilat following the killing of Jina Mahsa Amini, have continued since September 16. Although the Iranian government uses violence, arrest and death penalty against the protesters, the citizens continue to protest the government.

Snipers placed on the roofs

The Iranian government, which has turned the city of Javanrud into a military headquarters, has placed many snipers at many points in the city and particularly on the roofs of government buildings. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) continue to raid homes in the city and detain citizens without giving any reason.

On December 31, 2022, a 22-year-old youth named Burhan Eliasi, was shot to death by IRGC during a memorial ceremony held in the city of Javanrud for seven martyrs for freedom. Yesterday, he was sent off on his last journey in the city. After the funeral, the IRGC raided the home of Burhan Eliasi and detained his brother Halid Eliasi.

Six young people kidnapped

After the funeral of Burhan Eliasi, six young people were reportedly detained and taken to unknown locations by IRGC. Their families and lawyers do not know where the young people have been taken to.

The names of detained six young people are: Usame Yousefi, İdris Badiei, Yahya Abdi, Yaser Hedayati, Shahin Khodamoradi and Idris Fathi.
