Iran executes four prisoners in Urmia Prison
Iran executed three men and one woman in Urmia Prison for “collaborating with Israel”, according to media affiliated with the judiciary.
News Center- Three men and one woman, who were convicted for “collaborating with Israel”, were hanged in Urmia Prison, the judiciary’s Mizan news agency reported on Friday.
Mizan also identified the executed prisoners as Vafa Hanareh, Aram Omari and Rahman Parhazo and Nasim Namazi, who were sentenced to death on charges of “waging war against God” and “collaborating with Israel”.
More than 600 people have been executed by Iran so far this year, already the highest figure in eight years, said the Norway-based Iran Human Rights group in a November report.
