HDP Dersim Women’s Council has kicked off International Women’s Day events, while women sent postcards to female prisoners in Şırnak province and its districts within the scope of International Women’s Day events.

News Center- Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Dersim Women’s Council held a press conference to kick off International Women’s Day events. HDP Dersim Provincial Co-chair Nurşat Yeşil read the press statement and she said that they will speak up for their demands together with all women on March 8, International Women’s Day.

“Our rebellion is our freedom against hate speeches, all forms of violence against women, isolation conditions, strip search, harassment and rape, femicide, abduction, disappearance, rights violations, and state violence. We demand justice for women. We do not give up our rights and lives. We will secure justice all together against male justice. We call on all women to take the streets on March 8,” said Nurşat Yeşil.

Women sent postcards to female prisoners in Şırnak

Women came together in Şırnak and its districts led by Free Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad -TJA) and HDP Women's Council and they sent postcards to female prisoners within the scope of International Women’s Day events.
