Êzidî women came together in Shengal's Kersê valley to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Shengal- Hundreds of Êzidî women came together in Shengal's Kersê valley to celebrate International Women’s Day. The event organized by the Êzidî Women's Freedom Movement (TAJE) started with a march from the entrance to the festival area.

Êzidî women shouted the slogan saying, “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Women, Life, Freedom) while marching to the festival area. Many women’s organizations sent their messages to celebrate International Women’s Day. The event continues with the songs of the Hope of Shelgal's Women musical group. Theater and folklore groups will also take the stage at the event.
