Prosecutor requests acquittal for Çağlar Demirel

News Center- The 8th hearing of the trial in which former Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP Çağlar Demirel is tried on charges of “insulting the President” was held today by the Diyarbakır 5th Criminal Court of First Instance.
Prosecutor demands her acquittal
Giving its opinion at the hearing, the prosecution demanded the acquittal of Çağla Demirel. Serdar Çelebi, lawyer of Çağla Demirel, also demanded the acquittal of his client. The final hearing will be held on March 21, 2024.
