Imprisoned teachers start hunger strike in Iran
10 teachers, who have been held in Saqqez prison have started a hunger strike to protest their unlawful detention and the rejection to their demands.

Dozens of teachers were detained during their protests across Iran. 10 detained teachers, who have been held in Saqqez prison, started a hunger strike on June 19 to protest ongoing pressure on them and their unlawful detention.
The names of teachers on hunger strike are: Xalîd Ebduley, Silêman Ebdî, Ehmed Qadirî, Amanc Emînî, Zahîd Muradî, Îsmaîl Ruhanî, Hisam Xakpor, Tahir Hamidî, Muhsîn Şkohî and Hesen Rehmiyan.
Last week, the Coordinating Council of Iranian Cultural Associations released a statement on Thursday about the detained teachers and demanded their immediate and unconditional release.
