Hundreds hospitalized in Iran, Iraq due to sandstorms

800 Iranian citizens and 570 Iraqi citizens have been hospitalized due to the sandstorms.

News Center- Sandstorm is an ecological disaster affecting Middle Eastern countries. According to Iranian officials, the sandstorms in Iraq on Thursday affected Baghdad, Anbar, Kirkuk, Najaf, Karbala, and Saladin. Last night, 800 citizens were hospitalized only in Anbar and Najaf; 322 citizens in Saladin, 600 citizens in Baghdad, and 100 citizens in Diwaniyah were hospitalized.

570 citizens hospitalized in Iran’s Khuzestan province

Iran is another country suffering from air pollution, ecological disasters, and desertification. In the last 24 hours, 570 citizens have been hospitalized in Iran’s Khuzestan province due to the sandstorm.

Three more sandstorms are expected

According to local sources, the people of Khuzestan have been warned against three more sandstorms expected to affect the province.
