House raids in Mardin: 4 female politicians detained
Four female politicians, including Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) provincial and district co-chairs, have been detained in house raids conducted in Hakkari province while many people have been summoned to the police station to testify in Yüksekova.
Colemerg – House raids were conducted in Hakkari city center and its Şemdinli district in the morning. Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Hakkari Co-chair Sinem Seven, HDP Hakkari Women’s Council Spokesperson Zeynep Kaya, HDP Şemdinli district Co-chair Sozdar Atilla and HDP Hakkari former Co-chair Sipan Turan have been detained. Four female politicians have been reportedly taken to Hakkari Police Station.
Many people, including HDP Yüksekova district Co-chairs Şadiye Kırmızıgül and Abdülkerim Akdoğan and HDP Hakkari Co-chair İsmail Seven, have been summoned to the police station to testify.
