Female Baloch teacher dies after being shot by plainclothes security agents in Iran
Hossniyeh Kolkoli, a 41-year-old Baloch teacher, died of her injuries at Khatam-al-Anbia Hospital in Iranshahr on Wednesday after six days in coma. She was seriously injured after being shot by plainclothes security agents on June 19.

News Center- Hossniyeh Kolkoli, a 41-year-old Baloch teacher and mother of four who was seriously injured after being shot by plainclothes security agents on June 19, 2025, died of her injuries at Khatam-al-Anbia Hospital in Iranshahr, a city in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, on Wednesday after six days in coma.
According to the NCRI Women’s Committee, the assailants fled the scene immediately after the shooting. As Hossniyeh Kolkoli was being rushed to the hospital, the assailants left the scene without any explanation.
Hossniyeh Kolkoli was a dedicated educator at Hazrat Soleiman Elementary School in the impoverished village of Surap, near Iranshahr. She had long worked tirelessly to teach children in underprivileged Baloch communities.
