News Center- As the experts draws attention that the cases of child abuse and child marriages will increase all around the world during the Covid-19 pandemic, a father tried to force his 15-year-old daughter to marry in Adana province of Turkey.

In the Dumlupınar neighborhood of Adana’s Seyhan district, a father tried to force his 15-year-old daughter named R.B. to marry his friend’s son but the girl refused and could manage to run away and reported police the incident. After the report of the girl, police detained her father, mother, and the father’s friend’s son were detained. Three persons have been released after being questioned at the police station. The girl has been taken from her family and sent to the state’s dormitory.
