News Center- Environmental lawyer Hilal Küey, a member of Izmir Bar Association, died from cancer. She had reportedly received treatment for cancer for years.

Who is Hilal Küey?

She waged a legal fight for Allianoi Ancient City against Yortanli dam. Hilal Küey is also known for her activist works and legal struggle to save Sulukule. She also made important contributions to the World Tribunal on Iraq (WTI) and carried out peace works.
