Emine Kara to be buried in Qandil
The body of Emine Kara (Evîn Goyî), who was killed as a result of an armed attack in Paris on December 23, 2022, arrived in Sulaymaniyah today. After a ceremony, her body was sent off to the Qandil Cemetery of Martyrs to be buried.
News Center - On December 23, 2022, a gun attack was carried out against the Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Cultural Center in Paris. The Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) Executive Council Member Emine Kara (Nom de guerre: Evîn Goyi), singer Mîr Perwer (Mehmet Şirin Aydın) and Abdurrahman Kızıl lost their lives in the massacre.
On Tuesday, January 3, thousands of Kurds and their friends held a ceremony in Villiers-Le-Bel, a suburb of Paris, to pay respects to the murdered three Kurdish people. After the ceremony, Emine Kara, Mîr Perwer and Abdurrahman Kızıl were sent off to Kurdistan.
Today, the body of Emine Kara arrived in Sulaymaniyah. Her body was taken from Sulaymaniyah International Airport to Ehmed Heci Eli Mosque. Then, her body was sent off to Qandil Cemetery of Martyrs to be buried.
