Riha- Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who were detained on the 22nd day of their sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse, have been released.

After being held at the police station for a while, they have been released. They went to Urfa Courthouse to continue their protest.

“My mother and I were detained in front of the courthouse. We shouldn’t have been the ones who were detained while demanding justice. Why are we detained while the perpetrators are untouchable? We just demand justice,” said the family on their social media account.
