Emine Şenyaşar’s husband and two sons were killed. She has been detained while staging a sit-in protest in front of the courthouse of Urfa to demand “justice”.

News Center- On June 14, 2018, the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP Ibrahim Halil Yıldız killed four members of Şenyaşar family in the Suruç district of Urfa province during the General Election held on 24 June 2018 in Turkey. Emine Şenyaşar lost her husband and two sons in the attack. Emine Şenyaşar has been detained while staging a sit-in protest in front of the courthouse in Urfa demanding justice for her husband and two sons.

“They detained her to take her testimony over a claim. I will follow the incident,” said Urfa Bar Association Chairperson Abdullah Öncel.
