Emine Şenyaşar demands justice for 93 days: Why aren’t they tried?

“We were just shopkeepers. We don’t harm anyone. I have been here for three months. I hardly see now. Do you have the right to kill people if you are a member of parliament? Why aren’t they tried?” asked Emine Şenyaşar, who has held a sit-in protest in front of Urfa Courthouse for 93 days demanding justice.

Emine Şenyaşar’s son Fadıl Şenyaşar called his mother from Elazığ Prison. “They killed three members of my family and put one in prison. Have you ever heard of people being killed at a hospital?
