Riha - The sit-in protest started in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in the Suruç district of Urfa province by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 423rd day. In the morning, the family members came in front of the Urfa Courthouse from their house located in the Suruç district of Urfa province to hold their sit-in protest. The mother and her son give information about their sit-in protest to the people and lawyers entering the courthouse.

“They killed her two sons and husband at the hospital, her son, who survived the attack, is being held in prison. Mother Emine wants to celebrate Mother's Day with her jailed son. She has demanded justice in front of the courthouse for 423 days,” the Şenyaşar family posted today on their social media account by using the hashtag “#ŞenYaşarAilesiDirenişte (Şenyaşar family resists)”.
