Riha- “Prosecutors protect the murderers and become a party to this crime”, said Emine Şenyaşar, who has held a sit-in protest in front of Urfa Courthouse for 28 days with her son Ferit Şenyaşar.

Emine Şenyaşar’s two son and husband were killed by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP Ibrahim Halil Yıldız and her son Fadıl Şenyaşar was wounded in the attack but he was arrested just after being discharged from hospital. Last week, Fadıl Şenyaşar was sentenced to 37 years and nine months in prison. Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have held a sit-in protest in front of Urfa Courthouse for 28 days demanding justice.

“Today, we started our protest for justice late. We took my mother to the hospital due to her health problems. The doctor recommended her to rest at home. But we cannot rest at home under this persecution. As a family, we were massacred at Suruç State Hospital. The prosecutors protect the murderers and become a party to this crime,” says the family's tweet.
