Riha- The sit-in protest of Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continues on its 269^th day.

“We want this cruelty to end”

On the 269^th day, the Şenyaşar family began to hold their sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse in the morning. Stating that they have demanded justice for nine months, Ferit Şenyaiar said, “Turkey has a system denying justice. That’s why we demand justice. We want this cruelty to end.”

“The change of the Minister of Treasury and Finance cannot change anything. The reason for the economic crisis in the country is injustice. The system denying justice should be changed. The cruelty in front of the courthouse continues on its 269^th day,” read the tweet posted by the family.
