Emine Şenyaşar’s husband and two sons were killed. She has staged a sit-in protest in front of the courthouse of Urfa for seven days demanding “justice”. She calls on everyone having a sense of conscience to support her.

News Center- On June 14, 2018, the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP Ibrahim Halil Yıldız killed four members of Şenyaşar family in the Suruç district of Urfa province during the General Election held on 24 June 2018 in Turkey. Emine Şenyaşar lost her husband and two sons in the attack. She has staged a sit-in protest in front of the courthouse in Urfa demanding justice for her husband and two sons.

Today, she came in front of the courthouse with her son Ferit Şenyaşar and demanded to talk with the High Court Chief Prosecutor, and her demand was rejected. “Our protest for demanding justice is on its seventh day. We call on everyone having a sense of conscience to support our struggle for justice and rights by joining our protest for 10 minutes in front of the courthouse.”
