Earthquake Death toll in Syria rises to 3,694

Death toll from the earthquakes in Syria has risen to 3,694, the number of injured people is now 14,814.

News Center- The 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes centered in Maraş on February 6, 2023 have affected many cities in Turkey, Kurdistan and Syria.  The earthquakes have killed and injured tens of thousands of people.

According to the reports, the earthquakes have killed 2,274 and injured 12,400 people in the areas occupied by the Turkish state and Turkey-backed factions.

Hassan al-Ghabbash, Health Minister of the Syrian government, has announced that the earthquakes have killed 1,414 people and injured 2,357 in the areas under the control of the Syrian government.

According to the Health Department of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the earthquakes have killed six people and injured 57 people in North and East Syria.
