Dozens killed across Gaza since early Monday
Israeli forces intensified their attacks across the Gaza Strip early Monday, killing and injuring dozens of Palestinians.

News Center- The Gaza Strip has been suffering an unprecedented humanitarian crisis; Palestinians have been suffering from severe food and water shortages due to the ongoing Israel’s blockade in the enclave.
At least 20 Palestinians were killed and more than 200 others were injured when Israeli forces opened fire on civilians near an aid distribution site in Rafah, southern Gaza, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
Two Palestinian fishermen were killed when Israeli forces opened fire on their boat off the coast of Gaza City, medical sources said.
Clashes and bombardments also took place in eastern Gaza City, particularly in the neighborhoods of Al-Tuffah, Al-Zaytoun, and Al-Shuja’iya, as well as in areas surrounding Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, according to Wafa.
‘Israel has weaponized food’
UN rights Chief Volker Türk condemned Israel’s attacks in the besieged Gaza Strip on Monday. Volker Turk said Israel’s “means and methods of warfare are inflicting horrifying, unconscionable suffering on Palestinians in Gaza”.
“Israel has weaponized food and blocked lifesaving aid,” Volker Turk said as he presented his annual report to the 59th Human Rights Council in Geneva.
Since October 7, 2023, at least 55,362 Palestinians have been killed and 28,741 others injured in Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
