Makhmur - Today, Turkish drones shelled the Makhmur refugee camp, which receives the support of the UNHCR. A house was targeted by Turkish drones in the attack. A civilian named Evizêt Abdullah Abid was seriously injured and taken to the Geyar Hospital; however, he lost his life at the hospital.

Protest by the residents of the camp

The residents of the camp gathered in front of Evizêt Abdullah Abid’s house to protest the attack. “We condemn the ongoing attacks and the cooperation of the KDP. The Turkish state attacks us now but it will attack the KDP in future. The KDP should know that one day it will also be attacked. The Turkish state aims to annihilate Kurdish people and occupy Kurdistan. We condemn all the partners of the Turkish state who allow the attacks,” the women gathering in front of the house said.
