Riha – The sit-in protest staged by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız on June 14, 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 198th day today. Today, Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar went in front of the courthouse to demand justice again by holding a placard reading, “We just demand justice.” They gave information to citizens and lawyers entering the courthouse about their sit-in protest, which will enter its 200th day on Friday.
The family posted a tweet today and called on bar associations in Turkey to support them on the 200th day. “A mother has been waiting in front of the courthouse for six months. She demands justice for her killed sons and husband. We will say to stop the ongoing injustice together on Friday.”
