News Center- The dead body of Rojvelat Kızmaz, who went missing in the Petrol neighborhood of Êlih (Batman) on February 9, has found in the water of the Hasankeyf Dam.

On February 11, her family found her clothes and belongings near the dam.

In an interview with Mesopotamia Agency (MA), her brother Mehmet Kızmaz, a journalist, said that they found his sister’s clothes and belongings near the Hasankeyf Dam. He said, “Although we reported her missing to the police station on February 9, no search efforts have been started. We looked for her everywhere in Batman for three days. Although we reported to the police that my sister might have gone to Hasankeyf on the day she went missing, no search efforts were started there. Then, we looked for her near the Tigris River in Hasankeyf and found her clothes and belongings there. We demanded a search be started at the dam with a boat; however, we were told, ‘The captain is out of the city’. After we found her clothes and belongings, a search effort was started.”
