Ban on abortion, miscarriage, fine by gender!
Apart from the prohibition of abortion in Iran, pregnant women have faced fines if they lose their babies. As if these ban and punishments are not enough, the Iranian regime has imposed fines by gender of the miscarried fetuses.
News Center- According to the Iranian laws, if a pregnant woman accidentally or intentionally has a miscarriage, she has to face a fine. In Iran, where abortion is illegal, the punishments also vary according to the gender of the fetal deaths in the wombs. If a pregnant woman accidentally or intentionally miscarries a male fetus, the woman has to pay a 480 Million Iranian toman fine. But if a female fetus dies in the womb, the woman has to pay a 240 Million Iranian toman fine. If the gender of the fetus is unknown, the woman has to pay a 360 million Iranian toman fine.
