News Center — US attacks continue across various regions in Iran amid escalating field tensions and repeated explosions reported in several cities. Official reports say the military operations have continued for weeks, accompanied by growing fears that the scope of targeting may expand.

The Iranian Ministry of Health announced today, Friday, July 24, that 55 people have been killed and more than 600 others injured since the start of the recent U.S. attacks on various parts of Iran. The ministry noted that this casualty figure was recorded between the launch of U.S. airstrikes on June 27 and July 13.

The statistics were released as Iranian authorities reported dozens of explosions occurring in different regions of the country, particularly in southern areas. They added that explosions were heard in the cities of Bandar Abbas, Ahvaz, Omidiyeh, and the vicinity of Andimeshk in Khuzestan, as well as an explosion on the southern coast of Qeshm Island near the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian authorities said four people were killed and five others injured in a U.S. attack on the outskirts of Ahvaz where more than 20 explosions were reported after the strike. Explosions also occurred in Khondab in Markazi province, Konarak in Sistan and Baluchestan province, and Khorramabad in Lorestan province, while at least three powerful explosions were heard along the southern coastline.
