Amed Bar Association files criminal complaint against fire killing 6 people
Amed (Diyarbakır) Bar Association has announced on Friday that they have filed a criminal complaint against the fire that erupted in an area between Mardin’s Mazıdağı and Amed’s Çınar districts last night.
News Center- Amed (Diyarbakır) Bar Association has announced on Friday that they have filed a criminal complaint to the Çınar Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the fire that erupted in an area between Amed’s Xana Axpar (Çınar) and Mardin’s Şemrex (Mazıdağ) last night.
We have filed a criminal complaint so that an effective investigation will be launched into the cause of the fire and the allegations about the late intervention to extinguish the fire, the Amed Bar Association said in a social media post.
“According to the latest official statements, six citizens have been killed and 29 others injured in the fire that erupted between Amed and Mardin. We express our condolences to the families of the killed people and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. We have filed a criminal complaint to the Çınar Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office so that an effective investigation will be launched into the cause of the fire and the allegations about the late intervention to extinguish the fire.”
