News Center- Akram Sabzi and her husband Kianoush Cheraghi, a former Kurdish political prisoner, were arrested in Dehloran on Tuesday. Akram Sabzi was released on bail after several hours of detention and interrogation. Her husband Kianoush Cheraghi was transferred to Ilam Prison.

Kianoush Cheraghi, a resident of Dehloran, was arrested on September 27, 2023, after security forces raided his home. He was sentenced to two years in prison by the Revolutionary Court of Dehloran on charges of “acting against national security.” After serving 14 months in prison, he was released on May 13, 2025.
