Activist Saba Kord Afshari released from prison after being infected with Covid-19

Iran has temporarily released activist Saba Kord Afshari from Qarchak Prison for medical treatment after she is infected with Covid-19.

News Center- Activist Saba Kord Afshari was temporarily released from the Qarchak Prison for medical treatment on August 11 after she was infected with Covid-19. The activist will back to prison after 15 days.

She protested the mandatory veil in Iran

Saba Kord Afshari is a human and women’s rights defender in Iran. She appeared without a headscarf to protest the mandatory veil in Iran.
