Riha- Emine Şenyaşar’s husband and two sons were killed by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP Ibrahim Halil Yıldız in Suruç district of Urfa province just before the general elections held in Turkey on June 24, 2018. Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have held a sit-in protest in front of Urfa Courthouse demanding justice since March 9.

The Şenyaşar family announced that they keep holding their protest on Twitter. “Three years ago, three of our family members were killed in Suruç State Hospital. We demanded the confidentiality order on the documents of the file to be removed but our demand was rejected. We will apply to the Constitutional Court. We will resist until we get justice. We will not leave here,” says the tweet of the family.
