Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have demanded justice for 171st day. The family will begin to hold their sit-in protest in Ankara next week.
Riha- The sit-in protest for justice staged by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in the Suruç district of Urfa province, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, continues.
On the 171st day, Emine Şenyaşar and her son came in front of the Urfa Courthouse to hold their protest in the morning. Their lawyer Serhat Kurt joined them today.
Pointing out that the family hasn’t been able to meet with the prosecutor, Serhat Kurt said, “The family has demanded the criminals be tried for more than three years but their demand hasn’t been accepted. The former prosecutor said, ‘We identified 23 people’ but that prosecutor was dismissed. Until now, eight prosecutors changed or were changed. No arrest warrant has been issued against identified 23 people.” Serhat Kurt also reported that the Şenyaşar family will keep holding their protest in Ankara next week, “When the family goes to Ankara, everyone having a conscience will support the family. The family demands justice for everyone so everyone should support them.”
“This wheel of cruelty will be surely broken one day” says the tweet posted by the Şenyaşar family today.
