Şenyaşar family: Justice should not consist of only this above signboard
On the 71st day of their sit-in protest, the Şenyaşar family sits in front of the Urfa courthouse to demand justice for their killed relatives. “Justice should not consist of only this above signboard. This human tragedy should be ended now…” the family said.
Riha - The sit-in protest launched by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız in 2018, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar demanding justice has entered its 71st day. In the morning, the Şenyaşar family came in front of the Urfa Courthouse to keep holding their sit-in protest.
Today, Emine Şenyaşar holds placards reading, “We just demand impartial justice”, “We demand justice and justice”. The family also posted a tweet and said, “We are in front of the courthouse so that the State of Law does what is necessary. JUSTICE should not consist of only this above signboard. This human tragedy should be ended now…
