News Center- The Israeli army has carried out attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, targeting civilians waiting to get food at aid distribution sites in the enclave since it resumed its attacks on March 18, 2025.

Israeli forces have killed at least 516 Palestinians and injured 3,799 Palestinians near aid distribution sites set up by the United States-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) in southern and central Gaza since May 27, 2025, the Government Media Office in Gaza said in a statement on Wednesday.

The Government Media Office described the GHF distribution sites as “mass death traps, not humanitarian relief points”.
