5 displaced people killed in paramilitary shelling in Sudan
At least five displaced people were killed and 30 others injured in an attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on a displacement shelter in El Fasher, Sudan's North Darfur State.

News Center- The conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Sudan is one of the bloodiest conflicts in the region, killing tens of thousands of people and displacing millions of people inside and outside the country.
At least five displaced people have been killed and 30 others injured in an attack by the Rapid Support Forces on a displacement shelter in El Fasher, Sudan’s North Darfur State, local authorities reported on Sunday. The RSF has not issued a statement about the attack yet.
Since May 10, 2024, fierce clashes have taken place in El Fasher between the SAF and the RSF. El-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state, is the only major city in Darfur still under army control.
