47 women political prisoners in Iran’s Evin prison announced on Monday that they would go on a-day hunger strike to protest the country's human rights crisis and the escalating number of executions.
News Center- 47 women political prisoners in Iran’s Evin prison announced on Monday that they would go on a hunger strike from 10 pm on September 23 to 10 pm on September 24, coinciding with the speech of Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian at the UN General Assembly (UNGA).
The political prisoners started the hunger strike “to protest the country's human rights crisis and the escalating number of executions and demand the release of all political prisoners.”
