41 Yazidis killed by ISIS laid to rest in Shengal
41 Yazidis, who were killed and buried in a mass grave in 2014 by ISIS, were laid to rest in the Kocho village of Shengal after being identified.
News Center- While the genocide committed against Yazidis in 2014 by ISIS is still remembered as if it took place only yesterday, the bodies of victims have been being exhumed from mass graves.
Bodies of 41 Yazidis exhumed from mass graves, were laid to rest in the Kocko village of Shengal yesterday (December 8) after being identified by the Baghdad Forensic Medicine Institution.
The Iraqi Presidency issued a statement to commemorate those who lost their lives in the genocide. The identification process of 400 bodies has been reportedly continued.
