Emine Şenyaşar and her son Ferit Şenyaşar have held a sit-in protest in front of the Urfa Courthouse demanding justice for 354 days. On the 354^th day of their sit-in protest, Emine Şenyaşar has learned that 14^th investigation has been launched against her on charges of “insulting” AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız.

Riha- The sit-in protest held in front of the Urfa Courthouse by Emine Şenyaşar, whose husband and two sons were killed in the attack carried out on June 14, 2018, in Suruç by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, and her son Ferit Şenyaşar, who survived the attack, has entered its 354^th day.

On the 354^th day of their sit-in protest, Emine Şenyaşar and Ferit Şenyaşar went in front of the courthouse to demand justice for their murdered relatives. Today, Emine Şenyaşar learned that an investigation has been launched against her for “insulting” AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız. Until now, 14 investigations have been launched against Emine Şenyaşar.

“Yesterday, the mother (Emine Şenyaşar) was summoned to testify.   The victim is MP Yıldız. The number of investigations launched against the mother is 14 now. Even the voters of the AKP don’t accept this cruelty and unlawfulness,” the Şenyaşar family posted on their social media account today.
