Denizli: Meral Sivrikaya was killed

50-year-old Meral Sivrikaya, who filed a divorce lawsuit, was killed by Erkan Sivrikaya in the Hacıkaplanlar neighborhood of Denizli’s Pamukkale district. The perpetrator went to the roof of the building with a rope in his hand. He entered the flat of Meral Sivrikaya by using the rope and killed Meral. Erkan Sivrikaya was caught by the citizens of the neighborhood while trying to escape from the building holding a knife. Then, the police detained him.

İzmir: Nagihan Üste was killed

A police officer named Fırat Köksal killed his fiancée Nagihan Üste (33) in the Konak district of Izmir province and then killed himself. Nagihan reportedly lost her life while Fırat Köksal was reportedly seriously wounded. Fırat Köksal died after being taken to a hospital.
