3 women killed in 3 cities of Turkey

Femicide rates are increasing every passing day in Turkey. Hediye Tokay was killed in Urfa, Ebru Y. in Ankara and Saadet Kazak was killed in Siirt while a woman named Besê Ceylan was about being one of the victims of femicide in Şırnak province.

News Center- Yesterday, 40-year-old Hediye Tokay was killed by her husband Ahmet Tokay (46) in the Selçuklu neighborhood of Urfa’s Eyyübiye district. Ahmet Tokay was arrested for killing his wife.

Woman killed in Ankara

Woman named Ebru Y. was shot to death by her ex-husband Salih Ö. in the Mamak district of Ankara. After killing Ebru Y., Salih Ö. tried to kill himself. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Dead body of a woman found in Siirt

Dead body of 39-year-old Saadet Kazak, who was missing since August 28, was found in the Aktaş (Berxurk) village of Siirt province. The dead body of Saadet Kazak was taken to Siirt Training and Research Hospital for autopsy.

Attempted murder in Şırnak

Yesterday, a man named Temer Ceylan attempted to kill his wife Besê Ceylan in the Gündoğdu neighborhood of Şırnak province. The family members of Besê Ceylan battered the perpetrators Temer Ceylan and Orhan Ceylan. The two men were reportedly taken to a hospital in the province. An investigation has been reportedly launched into the incident.
