3 people sent to prison for killing Syrian teen in Antalya
Three people have been arrested Thursday for killing 17-year-old Ahmet Handan El Naif, a Syrian refugee, in the Serik district of Antalya on Tuesday.
News Center- 17-year-old Ahmet Handan El Naif, a Syrian refugee, was stabbed to death by three motorcyclists identified as R.Ö. (17), Y.Y. (15) and İ.A. (17) in the Serik district of Antalya on Tuesday. The three people were detained for killing the Syrian teen after the incident.
According to the received reports, R.Ö., Y.Y. and İ.Ö. have been sent to prison by a Turkish court for killing the Syrian teen.
The body of Ahmet Handan Naif was taken to Syria by her family on the evening of July 3 after the autopsy at the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute. 40 Syrian refugees have been reportedly held at the police station in the district due to racist attacks on Syrians and those who have no “temporary protection identity document” will be deported soon.
